Hi,
I am Tirtha Bharadwaj from India. First of all I would like to thank you
very much from the core of my heart for visiting my blog. I am a
freelance fine artist and illustrator and I hope my blog will motivate
you to take up painting as your hobby or your profession.
I started painting at an early age. I owe this to both my mother Leely
Bhattacharyya and my father Late Dr. Indra Nath Bhattacharyya for
understanding me then and sending me to an art school. My mother was the
first to infuse the love of cars at such an early age. Everyday she
would draw a car for me and I would stare at the car while she would
feed me. My father loved painting even though he was a Doctor by
profession. He would bring big sheets of papers for me to draw and thus
my love for painting and drawing took wings. But soon family
expectations got the better of me. My father was a doctor and so
everyone had high hopes for me. Everyone wanted me to follow the same
path. I declined and decided to fight back. I finished my Post
Graduation in Business Studies, worked for 3 years in a reputed company,
left my job and came back home to pursue what I love. Still learning
and painting for sheer happiness.
